Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium grant is additional funding given to publicly funded schools to enable targeting of pupils support to enable them to reach their full potential within education. Central Government has used pupils entitled to free school meals (FSM) at any point within the last 6 years or Looked After Children or children of service personnel as indicators of probable support requirement.
The Federation is provided with a fixed amount of funding for each pupil meeting any of these requirements . The Head of Federation, in conjunction with the Governing Body then decides how this funding is used to best support the children’s education.
All schools are required to report on the amount of funding received , how it is being used and the impact of the work undertaken to support pupils.
